Ricardo Mello is undoubtedly one of the unavoidable names in the national dance scene. Known for his eclectic and musically filled sets, Ricardo Mello began his musical career at the age of seven with piano and percussion that ended up being the great vehicle to reach the dj’ing scene and music production, his true vocation.

With the great objective of shaking up the dance floor, he uses sounds from deep house, vocalized house, electronic and mainstream, in his suitcase that he has been carrying for twenty years he brings songs in the style of David Guetta, Little Louie Vega, Martin Solveig, artists with whom he identifies. Throughout his career, Ricardo Mello has shared decks with names such as David Guetta, Axwell, Steve Angelo, Diego Miranda, Chus & Ceballos, Bob Sinclair, David Moralles, Martin Solveig, Edward Maya, Miguel Miggs, Ives Larock, Dimitri From Paris, Dj Vibe, to name just a few. He started his career at the line’s emblematic club – Coconuts, where he remained at the mixing desk for three years. In 2004 he founded “Emmo Records”, one of the most renowned national labels, in partnership, launching in the territory of dance artists of international reference, such as DJ Vibe, Kobbe, Cytric, Carlos Frauvelle, Richie Santana, Milton Channels, Kobbe, Eric Entrena, Dário Nunez, Tarot, Sérgio Fernandes, London 909, among others. He was the official DJ of Portugalnight Mag magazine between 2008 and 2011, having passed through the best national clubs, traveling to Switzerland, Germany, Holland, Spain, Andorra and Brazil. Ricardo Mello has been in recent years a resident dj in some of the most emblematic houses in the country, such as Kadoc, T Clube, Lust in Rio, Radio Hotel, and currently continuing as a freelancer with assiduous presences in first-rate spaces.

Also embracing projects such as Co-Founder of the Labels Less is More Records and Deepless Records together with Dj Diego Miranda and Loop 128 Records with Dj Pedro Diaz.

Ricardo Mello is currently also part of the animation team of Sport Lisboa e Benfica.
